Why the Product Was Recalled
Bazzini issued the voluntary recall after discovering that certain lots may contain undeclared peanuts.
The issue was discovered following a consumer complaint, which reported that “peanut butter-containing products” were inside the individual Dark Chocolate Coconut Almond Bites, in their 10-count package, prompting the company to act out of caution.
The recall affects products distributed nationwide through retail stores and samples, and applies only to specific lot codes and best by dates in December 2026.
While no illnesses have been reported, the FDA warns that individuals with peanut allergies could suffer serious or even fatal reactions if they consume the product.
