Coachella festivalgoers are blowing up amid claims they had their Airbnb stays canceled at the last minute.

One influencer had a huge on-camera meltdown saying her lodging for the four-day desert party was yanked just days before it started.

The woman, whose online named was Drea Views, made a post on TikTok claiming she woke up to a message that said “Your reservation was canceled.”

She shared a screenshot of what she said was sent from Airbnb. “I booked everything back in September and they just cancelled my Airbnb reservation this morning.

“Everything is so expensive now to rebook. Has this happened to anyone else today? There’s so much money, time and energy put into planning a trip like this.”

She added” “Very inconsiderate of the Airbnb host to just leave us hanging like that. Everything happens for a reason, but I’m just so sad and disappointed.”

Luckily, the woman said she was eventually able to find a “new place in time for Coachella,” in a second post.

There were other posts similar to Drea Views shared on Instagram by an influencer who goes by the name Assante Madrigal.

In his post he shared clips of social media influencers claiming that their stay for Coachella was canceled before the festival.

One person said they were notified that their reservation was reportedly canceled because the host wanted to raise the price per night.

“They want to raise the price to $1600 from $500 a night,” the person said in a TikTok.

In the Instagram post, Madrigal said that Influencers said “they were invited to Coachella just to be uninvited right before.”

In a statement to KTLA, Airbnb said that they’re “not seeing any notable uptick in cancellations over Coachella weekend.”

The company also told the outlet they’ve been in contact with those guests who have reached out online about their concerns.

Airbnb said that some of the claims that had been made on various platforms were unverifiable because the guests either had no record of booking with them or had not gotten back to them.

“Festival‑goers trust Airbnb for their Coachella stays because we offer options that fit all budgets and reliability, with protections against rare issues like cancellations,” the spokesperson told KTLA..

“We know host cancellations can disrupt plans, which is why we have deterrents, including cancellation fees, calendar blocks to prevent rebooking, and a ban on relisting for a higher price, as well as 24/7 guest support.”

“We require that all listings and hosts meet our high standards, and we support affordability with pricing tools for hosts, as well as price filters and upfront total pricing for guests,” the spokesperson added.

The California Post has reached out to Airbnb for further comment.
