Young kids were apparently riding around in boats through “sewage brown” water at a popular Maryland amusement park over the July 4 weekend, nauseating video shows.
A video posted to TikTok over the holiday captured a single young tot innocently riding around on a boat attraction at the Trimper Rides of Ocean City amusement park, the Daily Mail reported.
In the video jokingly captioned, “Is this even legal? (I’m kidding) I really don’t know,” a group of small colorful children’s boats can be seen sailing around in a circle through disgusting, brown-colored water.
Over 2.6 million people have viewed the video since it was posted Sunday — and many of the comments roasted the amusement park.
“Are you sure this water’s sanitary?” one user snarked, while another pointed out, “That ride is overdue for maintenance.”
“Prob radioactive now,” another joked.
“That has got to be some type of health code violation,” said another.
Others simply compared the dirty water to something on the silver screen.
“Is that the water from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?” one user joked.
Another, however, asked the question that was likely on everyone’s mind — “Why is the water sewage brown?”
The startling sight concerned many, particularly those who have previously visited the theme park.
“Wasn’t it actually clear water once?? I swear I have pics as a kid riding it??,” one user asked.
“I still have a picture of me and my sister on this back when the water was blue,” another reminisced.
A number of people compared the images with previous trips to the park — some as recently as May of this year — when the ride’s water was clean and blue.
It is unclear when the condition deteriorated but most people are just outright confused and concerned.
“Oh f–k no, I’ve changed diapers that looked cleaner than that,” one user wrote.
Trimper Rides Management did not immediately reply to The Post’s request for comment.
