Doechii’s music career has been growing by leaps and bounds in just the past several weeks. Since she won the Grammy for Best Rap Album – becoming just the third woman in history to do so – the world has started listening to her latest project in huge numbers, and it seems like each and every frame she bounds higher and higher.
Alligator Bites Never Heal, Doechii’s debut full-length, can be found on five charts in the United Kingdom this week. Impressively, it rises to a new all-time high on each and every one of them at the same time.
Alligator Bites Never Heal on the Rise
Unsurprisingly, Alligator Bites Never Heal climbs highest on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart. It debuted at No. 9 last frame, and now the title soars to No. 3, approaching No. 1, which it might hit in the next several turns.
Doechii’s New Top 10 Album
Doechii’s breakthrough project also manages to crack the top 10 on one other list. This time around, it bolts from No. 16 to No. 5 on the Official Vinyl Albums ranking, becoming a top 10 bestseller on wax for the first time.
Doechii’s Breakthrough Album Soars
The same album reaches the top 20 on two other related lists in just its second turn. Alligator Bites Never Heal climbs at least 20 spaces on both the Official Physical Albums (No. 14) and Official Album Sales (No. 15) charts.
Alligator Bites Never Heal Lifetime on the Charts
So far, Alligator Bites Never Heal has only spent two weeks on each of the aforementioned rankings. It’s now up to its first full month on the Official Albums chart, which ranks the most popular and most-consumed projects throughout the nation. In its fifth frame, it steps up from No. 77 to No. 65, which also now marks a new all-time best showing for the title.
Alligator Bites Never Heal is Doechii’s only charting project in the U.K. That means that on each of the five rosters where she crawls north this time around, she hits a new career peak as her full-length does the same.
Doechii’s Historic Grammy Win
Last month, Alligator Bites Never Heal was named the Best Rap Album at the Grammys. She joined past female champions Lauryn Hill and Cardi B in the history books as she collected the honor, which was handed to her by the latter act.
Doechii and Blackpink Singer Jennie Debut on the Charts
As Alligator Bites Never Heal swims toward the summit on a number of U.K.-based rankings, Doechii collects a new hit. She joins Blackpink singer Jennie on the track “Extra, L,” which launches on four U.K. charts this time around. It earns the rapper her first top 10 on both the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts, where it enters at No. 4 and No. 6, respectively.
