A driver is dead after he crashed his car into a parked truck in Brisbane’s south-west before dawn on Wednesday.
Police were called to Freeman Road at the intersection of Firth Street in Richlands about 4.08am on Wednesday.
The car had collided head-on with a truck parked along the suburban stretch.
The male driver suffered life-threatening injuries and a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed he was not taken to hospital.
Police said the forensic crash team would investigate what caused the crash.
Witnesses or anyone from with CCTV from the area were urged to contact police.
