The Philadelphia Eagles were able to improve to 3-0 on the young season with a wild comeback win over the Los Angeles Rams on the road.

Despite trailing 26-7 at one point in the third quarter, the Eagles were able to come all the way back to win by a final score of 33-26. With that final score, Jalen Hurts and company finished off the game by outscoring the Rams 26-0.

So far, things have gone well for Philadelphia as the team looks to defend its Super Bowl win from last year. Even when the going has gotten tough, the Eagles have found ways to make the necessary plays to win football games.

Following their win over Los Angeles, Hurts spoke out with a very strong message to the rest of the NFL.

Packers QB Jordan Love Provides Head-Scratching Response to Browns Loss

“If that doesn’t show you what type of team we are, I don’t know what does,” Hurts said.

He is 100 percent correct. Philadelphia is a resilient football team and clearly has championship experience. Too many “contenders” fall apart and lose games like the one the Eagles just won over the Rams.

Looking around the rest of the NFL, Philadelphia could point to other teams who are considered contenders that stumbled in Week 3. The Green Bay Packers and Rams are just two of the teams who were unable to live up to their hype.

Hurts put together a strong performance in the win. He completed 21 of his 32 pass attempts for 226 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions, while also running for 40 yards and another touchdown.

Even though many media members and fans have disrespected him by calling him a game manager, Hurts has continued to make plays. He has continued to quiet the doubters and has kept the Eagles looking like a top-tier Super Bowl contender again.

Of course, the season is still young. Philadelphia hasn’t accomplished anything yet.

Steelers’ Aaron Rodgers Offers Blunt Words After Big Win

Next week, the Eagles will have another chance to prove that they are legit. They will be facing off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road.

In order to defeat the Buccaneers and keep Philadelphia undefeated, Hurts will need to put together another big game. He has not disappointed the Eagles yet and it will be interesting to see if he can keep the team playing at a high level as they push towards another deep playoff run.
