Now, the teaser trailer for its sequel, ‘Wicked: For Good,’ has officially dropped, signifying six months until the highly-anticipated film finally hits theaters.
The teaser itself has very little to it, showing the cracking glass pane of a window and the words “Six Months” followed by the film title. Still, it seems that this simple 15 second video has captured the fandom’s enthusiasm.
A majority of the replies and reposts on social media have been filled with green and pink hearts, showing fans’ love for the lead characters, Elphaba and Glinda.
That being said, some fans were critical over how little was shown in the video, including no reference to a single song from the film.

Finally, another fan is more than ready for the tone shift that will come in the second film, saying, “The glass is breaking just like my heart when I hear ‘For Good’ for the first time 💚.”
