Hilaria Baldwin hit back at backlash over her weight after posting a video with her kids on Instagram.

Newsweek reached out to Baldwin’s representative via email on Tuesday for comment.

The Context

Baldwin, 41, wed actor Alec Baldwin in July 2012, and the couple share seven children: daughters Carmen, María Lucía and Ilaria, and sons Rafael, Leo, Romeo and Eduardo. Alec also shares a daughter with his ex-wife, Kim Basinger, Ireland Baldwin.

In February, Hilaria and Alec Baldwin announced their new TLC show, The Baldwins, which takes “an intimate, behind-the-scenes look” at their lives, the network said at the time.

What To Know

On Monday, Baldwin took to Instagram to share a video with two of her children. In the playful clip, Leo and Carmen each individually lifted their mom off the floor as she attempted to pick up Carmen.

“Leo and Carmen can pick me up now!” the Yoga Vida co-founder wrote. “And I am struggling to pick them up. How does this happen so fast???”

In the replies underneath the post, an Instagram user wrote: “‘look how light i am!'”

In response, Baldwin said, “how about ‘look how strong my kids are’????”

When a separate commenter wrote, “Because you all bones. Do you eat?” she shot back: “well yes I do” alongside a face with tears of joy emoji.

At the time of publication, her video racked up 195,000 views, over 6,400 likes and 189 comments.

In an interview with Elle in 2016, Baldwin, who was pregnant with her third child at the time, revealed what she often eats in a day. Some meals included a salmon and quinoa salad for breakfast, a quesadilla for lunch, and a salad with mushrooms, tomatoes, apples, olives, and balsamic dressing for dinner.

In terms of fitness, the Boston native said she enjoys jogging and swimming.

“I always try to listen to how I’m feeling,” Hilaria Baldwin told the outlet. “It’s all about having perspective about the big picture of health.”

She added: “I am somebody who has dedicated my life to being healthy and to promote being healthy. It’s something that I believe passionately in. Some people will call it ‘cheat days,’ I’m not even gonna think of it as cheating. It’s all fine. It’s within that healthy range that I need right now, and if this is what I want to do, then this is what I’ll do.”
