The Avalanche won the first meeting between the teams in Denver on Nov. 29 by a 7-2 count. Nathan MacKinnon leads the NHL with 38 goals and tops Colorado with 88 points, while Brock Nelson has scored 27 goals. Scott Wedgewood is 20-3-5 with two shutouts, a .918 save percentage, and a 2.14 goals-against average. Caufield’s 30 goals are the most for Montreal, with Juraj Slafkovsky checking in with 19 and Nick Suzuki’s 59 points leading the club. Dobes is 16-5-3 with an .890 save percentage and 2.96 GAA.
