The Rainbow Warriors are led by quarterback Micah Alejado, whose 283.2 yards per game led the conference. Alejado completed 65.9% of his passes on the year for 2,832 yards and 21 touchdowns. 12 of those touchdowns went to his favorite big-play receiver, Jackson Harris, who caught 49 passes for 963 yards, leading the conference in touchdown receptions and yards per reception (19.7).
California and Hawaii last met on August 26, 2016, with the Golden Bears coming out on top 51-31.
