As a shopping writer, I’ve tested hundreds of skincare products, but few have gotten me as excited as the Victoria Beckham x Augustinus Bader collaboration. I’ve always admired Beckham’s radiant glow . . . and the celeb buzz around the brand’s The Rich Cream is impossible to ignore. It promises the ultimate rich-girl radiance, and I couldn’t wait to see if it delivers.
Thanks to the brand, I was lucky enough to test the full lineup: The Rich Cream, The Cell Rejuvenating Illuminator, and The Concealer Pen — and I’ve been living in them for the past few weeks. Created with proprietary technology TFC8, Augustinus Bader’s formulas are backed by over 30 years of research and are designed to boost cell renewal, smooth texture and deeply nourish the skin. With a massive celebrity fanbase and over 185 beauty awards, my expectations were sky high.
First on the list, The Rich Cream. I get it now — I understand why this moisturizer has reached cult status. In the mornings, it melted seamlessly into my skin, leaving it soft, glowy and perfectly primed for makeup. By night, I’d add on a thick layer and wake up to brighter and more luminous skin, kind of like I’d had an overnight facial. After just a few days, the difference was undeniable. My skin looked more radiant and healthier than it had in months.
Next up is The Cell Rejuvenating Illuminator. I knew it would be good, but I didn’t think it could deliver this level of glow. Infused with micro-pearl pigments and TFC8, the primer smoothed my texture, softened blemishes and created a runway-ready radiance. It made my skin look perfectly lit and expensive. The anti-aging benefits are just the cherry on top.
And last but not least is The Concealer Pen, which might just be my favorite of the trio. Powered by TFC8, acetyl hexapeptide-8 and squalane, it concealed, brightened and hydrated all in one step. It literally blurred away my under eyes bags, redness and blemishes without creasing or caking. I swear it melted into my skin more seamless than any other concealer I’ve used before. Available in seven versatile shades, it was creamy, lightweight, and surprisingly buildable — perfect for minimal makeup and full-glam days alike.
Of course, the backstory behind the collaboration makes it even more special. Beckham first discovered The Rich Cream through her facialist, Melanie Grant, and became “totally obsessed.” Naturally, she then reached out to Professor Augustinus Bader to join forces and combine the brand’s TFC8 with Beckham’s beauty line to create a product that will “give you a glow and tighten your skin and lift.” The result? A collection that blends clean, luxury beauty and both The Cell Rejuvenating Illuminator and The Concealer Pen were born.
After putting the collection to the test, I can confidently say I’m totally hooked. These formulas are totally luxe and hard-working and are priced as such, but now I know why. They’ve left my skin soft, luminous and impossibly polished, giving me that rich mom skin meets Victoria Beckham-runway glow. I’ve you’ve ever been questioning whether or not to invest in the line, I can promise, it’s every bit as good as they say.
