The U.S. has suffered injuries to 200 soldiers across seven countries since the Iran War started on February 28, the spokesman for U.S. Central Command told The Associated Press.

CENTCOMM Spokesman Captain Tim Hawkins revealed the revised figure, which has jumped from the previously reported figure of 140 injured as of last week. Hawkins also added that 10 service members are considered “seriously wounded,” and that 180 of the 200 injured have returned to duty.

The troops injured in Bahrain, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The injuries occurred mostly in the first few days of the conflict, but some of the injuries were only reported within the past few days as symptoms, such as those derived from traumatic brain injuries, became more apparent.

This is in addition to the 13 service members killed during that same period, six of whom died when a KC-135 crashed in Western Iraq last week.
