Josh Duhamel and his wife, Audra Mari, are celebrating the birth of their new baby girl.
“Rocca de Leon Duhamel our baby girl is here,” the couple announced via a joint Instagram post on Saturday, May 16.
They shared a carousel of baby Rocca’s early milestones, including introducing her to big brother Shepherd. One adorable shot showcased Duhamel, 53, near tears as he cradled his newborn daughter.
Duhamel and Mari’s daughter joins their son, Shepherd, who arrived in January 2024. The actor is also the father of son Axl, whom he welcomed with ex-wife Fergie in August 2013.
Mari announced via Instagram in March that she was pregnant with the couple’s second baby.
“Adding a little girl to our story. We can’t wait to meet you,” she captioned black-and-white maternity photos that highlighted her growing baby bump.
In the comments section, Duhamel responded, “Can’t wait to meet that little cutie 💕 Love you momma.”
Fergie — who was married to Duhamel from 2009 to 2019 — also sent her well-wishes, replying, “Welcome the cuteness! 💖💖.”
Duhamel and Mari confirmed their engagement in January 2022 after two years of dating. That September, the pair tied the knot.
Prior to Shepherd’s birth, Duhamel expressed his excitement about becoming a father again while hinting at his plans to have more kids with Mari.
“I get to do this again and hopefully again after that,” he said on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show in September 2023. “Axl’s going to be a great older brother. Audra’s going to be a great mother, [I’m] very blessed. … I’m jumping back in at this ripe old age. I’m doing it. To me, that’s what it’s about. I’m meant to be a dad.”
In March 2025, Duhamel opened up about parenting a toddler in his 50s. He exclusively told Us Weekly at the time that he was “trying to stay as young and youthful as I can,” not only so he could “work as long as possible” but also “to stay as healthy and useful to chase my 1-year-old.”
Later that year, Duhamel reflected on his experience as a father amid his role as a less-than-stellar dad in the film London Calling.
“It was fun to look at some of the things that I could even do better as a dad,” he exclusively told Us in September 2025. “I work a lot, and I often have a lot of guilt about not being there as often as I could be. So I try to maybe overcompensate or do things to be there often.”
He continued, “But at the same time, you want your kid to look and see [that] this is what you have to do to provide for your family. So on the other hand, you can’t be there all the time because you’ve got to be setting an example. But on the other hand, you might be missing out on life moments that you’d [be there for] if you were a 9 to 5 dad who went to work every day and came home. So it’s a constant struggle in this business. It’s not easy.”
Duhamel went on to rave over his coparenting dynamic with Mari and Fergie, noting, “We all have to work together to make sure that this thing works.”
