Karrueche Tran confirmed her current relationship status and made it quite obvious the Deion Sanders dating speculation is true.

Tran, 37, appeared on the “What’s Next w/ J. Ryan” podcast on Thursday, August 29, where Tran was asked if she was currently dating anybody. “I saw you took a liking into football recently,” host J. Ryan joked.

“Yeah, I’m dating,” Tran said.

When Ryan asked if Tran was “having fun” at the moment, the actress divulged more details about her current state of affairs.

“If I wasn’t having fun, I wouldn’t be in it,” Tran, who previously dated Chris Brown and former NFL star Victor Cruz, said. “I’m at a point in my life, like, I know what I want.”

“I’ve dated a lot, I’ve done a lot,” Tran continued. “I did this, I did that. So if I wasn’t happy and content and feeling good in my situation, I’m not wasting my time.”

She added, “I’d rather be at home, namaste. Nine o’clock, doing my own thing if I’m not happy. So yeah, I’m in a good place.”

Tran and Sanders, 58, were romantically linked last month when she was seen crying by Sanders’ bedside as the University of Colorado head football coach prepared to have bladder cancer surgery.

“We are here at the hospital because we are dealing with…,” an emotional Tran said in the July 28 YouTube video, unable to finish her sentence.

Tran recovered enough to whisper, “We are dealing with bladder cancer. He is having his bladder removed.”

In a second video posted via YouTube the following day, Tran could be seen helping Sanders take his first steps in the hospital following the NFL Hall of Famer’s successful surgery on May 9.

Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for Sanders and Tran for comment on the status of their relationship.

Sanders is the father of five children. The former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver shares daughter Deiondra, 33, and son Deion Jr., 31, with his first wife, Carolyn Chambers. He shares sons Shilo, 25, and Shedeur, 23, and daughter Shelomi, 21, with second wife Pilar Biggers-Sanders

Deion and Pilar, 50, finalized their divorce in 2013.

After months of speculation about his health, Sanders announced his bladder cancer diagnosis during a press conference at the University of Colorado on July 28.

“This wasn’t easy,” Sanders said. “Men, everybody, get checked out. Because if it wasn’t for me getting tested for something else, they wouldn’t have stumbled up on this.”

Sanders is expected to be on the sidelines when Colorado opens their 2025 season at home against Georgia Tech on Friday, August 29 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
