The gunman behind a deadly Kentucky church shooting was once named a “wanted person of the week” and carried out his rampage a day before he was due to appear in court for a domestic-violence hearing.

Guy House, 47, had been looking for the mother of his three kids when he barged into the Richmond Road Baptist Church in Lexington on Sunday afternoon, cops said.

The deranged suspect ended up killing the woman’s mom and sister and injuring several other people before being fatally shot by police, the Lexington Herald-Leader reported.

House, who already had a lengthy rap sheet to his name, had a domestic-violence hearing scheduled for Monday morning, according to the outlet. It wasn’t immediately clear though if the domestic-violence saga was tied to the mother of his children.

After barging into the church and realizing his apparent target wasn’t inside, House declared, “Well, someone’s gonna have to die, then” before he opened fire, witnesses said.

The chilling details emerged as it was revealed that House — who according to his social media was an aspiring influencer known as “HonKy Kong” — had a lengthy history of run-ins with law enforcement.

In 2022, he was featured by local authorities as a Crime Stoppers’ “wanted person of the week,” Fox 56 reported.

His rap sheet included possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and wanton endangerment of a police officer. He was also previously sought on theft of a vehicle, fleeing and evading and receiving-stolen-property charges.

His social media is filled with selfies, including one of him apparently wearing a keffiyeh-style scarf.

House’s latest crime spree unfolded when he was pulled over during a traffic stop near Lexington’s airport Sunday afternoon, cops said.

He opened fire on a state trooper before carjacking a vehicle and fleeing to the church roughly 16 miles away.

The slain victims were identified as Beverly Gumm, 72, and Christina Combs, 32.

Their husbands — Jerry Gumm, the longtime pastor of Richmond Road Baptist Church, and Randy Combswere — were both wounded when House opened fire at the church.

One of the men sustained critical injuries and the other was in stable condition, police said.

“Preliminary information indicates that the suspect may have had a connection to the individuals at the church,” city Police Chief Lawrence Weathers said.

Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn said the church was home to a small, tight-knit congregation.

“Please pray for everyone affected by these senseless acts of violence, and let’s give thanks for the swift response by the Lexington Police Department and Kentucky State Police,” Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said in a statement on X.

State Attorney General Russell Coleman said detectives with his office were ready to support local and state agencies.

“Today, violence invaded the Lord’s House,” Coleman said in a statement late Sunday. “The attack on law enforcement and people of faith in Lexington shocked the entire Commonwealth.”
