Kid Rock has responded after he was mocked by Conan O’Brien at the Oscars on Sunday.
O’Brien, who hosted the awards show, joked that the evening might get “political.” He added that for those who felt uncomfortable, there was an “alternate Oscars being hosted by Kid Rock,” for which there were “lots of tickets” available.
O’Brien referenced Rock’s involvement in Turning Point USA’s All-American Halftime Show, which was an alternative to February’s Super Bowl Halftime Show headlined by Bad Bunny.
Responding to O’Brien’s joke, Rock wrote on X: “I love a good joke, even when I am the butt of it, unfortunately this was not a very good one.”
