The relationship between Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion has ended after cheating allegations surfaced from the latter this weekend.
The 31-year-old rapper released a heated message on Instagram this weekend, calling out Thompson’s behavior towards her. Among her criticisms was having to deal with what she referred to as “‘horrible’ mood swings” from the four-time NBA champion.
“And now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’????” she wrote on her Instagram message, also writing: “I need a real break after this one y’all.”
As one might expect, that led fans of Hot Girl Meg to also become upset with Thompson after the split and allegations of infidelity against their favorite celebrity.

After many couples have a messy or emotional split, typically one or both of them wipe their social media accounts of any content featuring them together.
Thompson may have been busy or ignoring social media this weekend, as a July 2025 video featuring him and Megan Thee Stallion on a boat was still active on his Instagram.
The video features Meg informing everyone that “Klay is taking me on another adventure and we’re going fishing.” In parts of the video, which features the couple on a boat for a fishing trip,
“I’m in my element. I’m in my element. I’ve got my queen on board,” Thompson says, later requesting they play some of Megan Thee Stallion’s music while he’s steering the boat.
That video, which shows the couple enjoying their time together, had racked up over 323,000 likes and 13,000-plus comments. However, many new comments from the past 24 hours appeared, in which individuals who seemed to be Meg fans blasted and called out Thompson.
In the Instagram replies, many commenters sounded off about Thompson’s alleged infidelity or expressed frustration that the couple was over.
“Imagine giving this up? Someone who was down for you, down to ride with you… You got issues,” a commenter wrote.
“After everything she did for his birthday toooo like she goes all out for this man for his birthday, his family during the holidays, and he still pulls this,” someone commented.
Commenters wrote: “You don’t deserve her, never did,” and “You forgot to delete this too Mr unfaithful!”
Others said: “OK, but the thing is you still cheated on her?” and “hey, I feel like you should change careers and become an actor.”
Thompson, a four-time NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors, joined the Dallas Mavericks in July 2024, signing a three-year deal following a sign-and-trade. About a year later, he and Megan Thee Stallion began dating.
Many times, she was seen supporting Thompson by sitting courtside at games and even going back to the locker room after games to see him. However, their relationship has officially ended less than a year after they started dating, and Thompson will likely continue facing backlash from angry Megan Thee Stallion fans.
