Kody Brown and Brittany Cartwright are among the reality stars who are facing big challenges in the first look at season 4 of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
“In Special Forces, the weak do not belong,” ex-special force operative Jovon “Q” Quarles can be heard saying in the opening of the Monday, August 18, teaser trailer. “So you’re going to get a crash course in what it’s like to be a part of our reality.”
The trailer then cuts to Eric Decker standing backward off the edge of a cliff as his wife, Jessie James Decker, looks on in horror. He’s joined by Brown, 56, Gia Giudice — whose mom, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, is also a contestant on season 4 — Shawn Johnson, and her husband, Andrew East.
Someone from the group lets out a scream as they all fall off the cliff together as an operative says, “You will potentially die.”
The trailer than shows flashes of challenges to come this season that include tight rope walking over a canyon, boxing and army crawling in a body of water. Cartwright, 36, can be seen breaking down and crying while trying to complete a mission.
“Concentrate on staying alive,” one of the operatives says, while Barstool Sports personality Brianna LaPaglia can be heard screaming, “I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe!” Other contestants include The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Eva Marcille, Kristin Cavallari’s ex Mark Estes, Jussie Smollett, Randall Cobb, Chanel Iman, Johnny Manziel, Ravi V. Patel, Christie Pearce Rampone and Nick Young.
The reality show, which began in 2023, puts athletes, reality TV stars, musicians and more through a series of tests that the real United States Special Forces completes to become part of the military. There are no eliminations within the seasons, but contestants can opt to voluntarily exit and leave the series.
The official logline reads, “In this experiment, there are no votes and no eliminations – just survival. These celebrities, who are so used to being in the spotlight, will quickly learn the meaning of ‘no guts, no glory’ – and no glam.”
Season 4, which is set in Morocco, will premiere on Fox Thursday, September 25, and will follow the consonants as they embark on “a supply search in an abandoned village where they must race to extraction, a treacherous rat-run through dark and narrow tunnels, a plane shell dunk drill where pairs of recruits will be submerged underwater and must escape, a death-defying urban ladder crossing between buildings 50 ft above the urban streets, and much more.”
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test season 4 premieres on Fox Thursday, September 25 at 9 p.m. ET.
