Bryon Noem, the husband of former Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, broke his silence after The Daily Mail reported that he allegedly cross-dresses.

“I will at some point. Today is not the day. I appreciate your heart,” he said in a brief message to The New York Times on Tuesday.

The report by The Daily Mail alleged that Bryon Noem has chatted with online fetish models, citing hundreds of messages involving three women from the “bimbofication” scene, where adult performers augment their breasts with large amounts of saline to create a doll-like appearance.

A spokesperson for Kristi Noem told The New York Post, “The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time.”

Kristi and Bryon Noem have been married since 1992 and have three children together.

President Donald Trump reacted to the story on Tuesday, telling the Daily Mail he felt bad for the family.

“They confirmed it? Wow, well, I feel badly for the family if that’s the case, that’s too bad,” Trump said. “I haven’t seen anything. I don’t know anything about it. That’s too bad, but I just know nothing about it.”

Noem left her post as DHS secretary last month. Her tenure at the agency had drawn criticism amid President Donald Trump’s heightened immigration enforcement. DHS oversees key immigration agencies like U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

This is a breaking story. Updates will follow.
