Lana Del Rey and her husband, tour guide Jeremy Dufrene, appear to be more in love than ever.
Making a rare public appearance at Paris Fashion Week’s Valentino runway show on Sunday, October 5, Del Rey, 40, and Defrene, 50, held hands as they exited a black car and smiled for photos amid a crowd of fans.
Del Rey put her best foot forward, dressed in a floor-length lavender gown and toting an embroidered Valentino East West-style handbag, while Dufrene, who met his famous wife when she attended one of his alligator swamp boat tours in Louisiana in 2019, opted for a navy blue co-ord and T-shirt paired with a baseball cap.
Inside the Paris event, the pair were photographed kissing amid other tender photo moments that saw Dufrene protectively holding onto the “Summertime Sadness” hitmaker’s lower back while the duo kept smiling for the cameras.
The couple’s public day out in the City of Love comes just over one week after the singer and Dufrene both shared glimpses into their 2024 wedding. Taking to Instagram on September 26 to mark their one-year wedding anniversary, Del Rey shared a carousel of romantic snaps that captured the couple beaming and kissing on an airboat during their Louisiana bayou celebrations.
Celebrity wedding guests were also included in the carousel, including Margaret Qualley and her husband Jack Antonoff, as was the couple’s wedding cake which was decorated with an image of a wood cabin and inscribed with the words, “Jeremy and Lana.” Dufrene’s Instagram post featured several similar snaps as well as a gushing written tribute to Del Rey.
“Just want to wish my precious bride a Happy 1st year Anniversary. A lifetime of love and happy tears to go ❤️,” he captioned his carousel.
The pair surprised fans by tying the knot in a small ceremony in Des Allemandes on September 26, 2024. Del Rey was walked down the aisle by her father, Robert Grant, while photos published by the Daily Mail at the time showed that the musician’s mother, Patricia Ann Hill, sister, Caroline Grant, and brother, Charlie Hill-Grant, were also in attendance.
Del Rey and Dufrene first sparked romance rumors when Del Rey tagged Dufrene in a May 2024 Instagram that described him as “my guy.” Three months later, the twosome were seen holding hands at the U.K.’s Leeds Festival where Del Rey performed a set.
The singer has kept her romance private over time, but did offer her husband a sweet shoutout via a cute fashion choice in February. Taking to Instagram to flaunt a pair of embroidered jeans, Del Rey revealed the garment’s back pocket which saw “Dufrene” stitched with red cursive lettering into the space just above it.
Fans were quick to show their approval for Del Rey’s loving tribute, taking to the post’s comments section with messages including, “If the jeans are embroidered she’s crazy in love.”
Speaking publicly about her affection for Dufrene in October 2024, Del Rey wrote via an Instagram fan account that addressed the intense interest in her surprise wedding, “All that being said, Jeremy is the one and only. And amazing. And we’re very happy,” she penned at the time.
