Love on the Spectrum stars Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman’s social media presence might have hinted at their split.
News broke on Thursday, April 9, that the fan-favorite couple have split after five years of dating, but it had been months since they posted on Instagram together. Both Romeo, 27, and Isaacman’s final social media posts featuring one another came in December 2025.
Isaacman, 31, appeared in Romeo’s 2025 recap video, which she posted on New Year’s Eve.
“Grateful for an amazing year!” she wrote. “See you in 2026.”
Her video featured several clips with Isaacman, showing the former couple feeding a giraffe and doing press together for Love on the Spectrum. That same month, Romeo posted a sweet video of her and Isaacman at Universal Studios.
Similarly, Isaacman’s last post featuring Romeo was during the holiday season. He shared a Christmas Eve message to followers, which featured a photo of himself and Romeo in front of a decorated Christmas tree.
“I hope everyone has a great holiday with family, friends, and loved ones,” the reality star captioned his post.
Isaacman noticeably tagged Romeo in a video this past January. However, she was not present in the clip.
“I’ve partnered with @azcardinals to climb the wall for the #hikeforspecialneeds!” Isaacman captioned the solo video. “With your contributions, we can help spread #autismawareness and support those in need.”
According to multiple reports published on Thursday, Romeo and Isaacman split after five years together. (Us Weekly reached out to reps for comment.)
The former couple met during Love on the Spectrum season 1, which filmed in July 2021, after being set up on a blind date. Netflix viewers fell in love with the budding couple when the first season premiered in May 2022.
As further seasons of Love on the Spectrum continued to air, fans tuned in to watch Romeo and Isaacman’s relationship evolve. Season 4, which premiered earlier this month, showed Romeo discussing the next steps in her relationship with Isaacman.
“What if he gives me a wedding ring?” Romeo asked her mom during one episode. Some viewers had been hoping for a proposal. However, other eagle-eyed fans speculated that something went wrong in their relationship when Romeo and Isaacman stopped showing up in each other’s social media videos.
Isaacman previously told Us exclusively that he had plans for the future, which included Romeo.
“We [are] gonna get engaged someday,” he said in October 2024. “[Abbey] likes all the things I like and she tries new things too. She is loving and kind … and she is beautiful and makes me feel like a prince.”
