Luke Combs is truly a Swiftie at heart.

The country music star, 35, had nothing but good things to say about Taylor Swift during an interview with Extra that was published on Friday, August 22.

Speaking to the outlet, Combs described the “Cruel Summer” singer as “really, really great” and gushed about her music.

“Her music is undeniable. It would be impossible to not know like every one of her songs almost,” Combs said.

Combs explained that he crossed paths with Swift at Travis Kelce’s Tight End University event, which the Kansas City Chiefs player has held every year since 2021.

“I got to meet her recently at the Tight End U… She was in town for that. She was really, really great,” he gushed.

The “When It Rains It Pours” singer was also among the millions who attended Swift’s Eras world tour. He and his wife Nicole Combs attended night one of the Miami, Florida leg in October 2024 and posted glimpses of the night out via social media at the time.

“Her team was really, really great to my wife and her friends and it was a really great time,”  he told Extra.

Swift’s mammoth 21-month Eras Tour kicked off in 2023 and paid tribute to each of her albums, starting from her 2006 self-titled debut until her latest addition, 2024’s The Tortured Poets Department. The tour officially wrapped up in December 2024 in Vancouver, Canada.

Meanwhile, Swift would return to her country music origins if Combs had any say in the matter. When asked if he would be open to a collaboration with the songstress, Combs confirmed he would be.

“It’d be fun… Yeah, that would be a good time,” he told the outlet.

Earlier this month, Swift announced the impending arrival of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Show Girl, which drops Friday, October 3.

On August 13, Swift appeared on her boyfriend Travis’s podcast, “New Heights,” which he cohosts with his brother Jason to share details of the upcoming release.

Swift explained that she worked with her “mentor” Max Martin and Shellback for the album, who have previously worked with her on Red and tracks such as “We Are Never Getting Back Together,” “Blank Space” and “22.”

“We’ve made songs that I’m so proud of,” she said on the podcast, adding, “We’ve never made an album before where it’s just the three of us.”

She continued, “It felt like catching lightning in a bottle, honestly.”
