Los Angeles City Hall became a crime scene after a man allegedly jumped to his death.
Officers from LAPD Central Division rushed to the scene just after 4 p.m. Wednesday for the apparent suicide of a male, a spokesperson for the LAPD told The California Post.
A photo circulating on social media showed a white tent located just outside the building’s entrance. Police tape closed off the front steps.
The man’s identification is currently unclear. He jumped from the 25th or 26th floor, according to TMZ. While windows in most public areas of City Hall do not open, windows on the upper floors — where staffers work — do open.
