The Brooklyn maniac accused of slashing four young girls with a meat cleaver was charged over the bloodied frenzy after undergoing emergency surgery from being shot by cops, the NYPD said.

Long Qian Chen, 49, was hit with a slew of attempted murder and assault raps late Monday after he allegedly unleashed mayhem inside the Bensonhurst home at the weekend, cops confirmed.

Four girls between the ages of 8 and 16 were found bloodied inside the home on Sunday morning after one of the injured children frantically called 911 to report that her uncle had allegedly gone of the stabbing frenzy.

The suspect was shot once in the head and twice in the torso by police after he lunged them with the blood-soaked cleaver, cops have said.

The charges were filed against him after he underwent multiple surgeries in hospital, according to police.

The girls, meanwhile, were all rushed to Maimonides Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

One of the children had her finger severed during the bloodshed, while another was stabbed in the head and neck 10 times, law enforcement sources said.

Chilling images obtained by The Post showed one of the injured girls covered in blood outside the home in the immediate aftermath.

Updates on their conditions weren’t immediately available.

Chen, who was seen being wheeled out of the home on a stretcher and into a waiting ambulance, had been hospitalized for schizophrenia in the past, sources said.
