Marc Anthony’s family has expanded once more following the birth of his eighth baby.

The singer’s wife, Nadia Ferreira, announced the arrival of their second child on Tuesday, July 21.

“What a great blessing to be able to share with you the arrival of our precious MYLA 🤍,” Ferreira wrote via Instagram. “You can’t imagine the happiness we have at home, we are over the moon 😍.”

Ferreira shared a black-and-white photo of her and Anthony’s son, Marco, holding the newborn, as well as a snap of the family holding the baby’s hand.

Anthony, 57, and Ferreira, 27, tied the knot in January 2023. The couple welcomed Marco in June 2023.

Anthony and Ferreira announced her pregnancy with their second baby in January.

“Happy 3rd anniversary!! What a great gift life gives us,” they captioned a joint Instagram post at the time. “God is great ✨ Marquito is going to be a big brother. ❤️.”

The accompanying photo showed Ferreira’s pregnant belly with her, Anthony’s and Marco’s hands resting on her bump.

Prior to starting his family with Ferreira, Anthony was already a father of six. The Puerto Rican singer previously welcomed daughter Arianna in 1994 and son Chase in 1995 with ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado, sons Cristian in 2001 and Ryan in 2003 with ex-wife Dayanara Torres and twins Max and Emme in 2008 with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez.

Amid Ferreira’s pregnancy, Anthony debuted his first Las Vegas residency, Vegas … My Way, in February. Before his tenure at Fontainebleau began, he teased how his children influenced his performance.

“When you have kids and everything comes with a sense of responsibility, every time I put a show together, I wonder what all my kids would think if they were all sitting there at the same time,” he exclusively told Us Weekly in a December 2025 interview. “I want them to be proud and I always take that into account, you know, what my kids, if I had all them sitting in the front row, what they would say, that’s always in the back of my mind.”

He added: “But everything I’ve done in my life has been with my family in mind and that’s how I’ve been able to manage, not so much, how I create, if not just the end product, does it represent not only me, but us as a family. So always keep them in mind. I’m looking forward to them seeing the show and going and seeing what Daddy does, so they’re ever present.”

In the past, Anthony has been forthcoming about balancing fatherhood with his career, admitting in an April 2016 interview with CBS Sunday Morning that he wished he’d spent more time with his older children when they were growing up.

“The one regret would be that what I chose to do took so much of my time. What I would have done to have been a stay-at-home dad and, you know, witnessed every second of everything,” he said at the time. “I would have loved that. Didn’t work out that way. So it’s the one thing that just tugs at me … that’s the biggest sacrifice. And you sort of start to wonder, was it all worth it?”
