A Massachusetts cop who was mysteriously placed on leave earlier this month has been accused of years-long sexual and physical abuse of a minor she and her husband were caring for, according to bombshell court documents.

Plymouth Police Officer Samantha Pelrine, 31, and her husband Daniel Forand, 37, were both abused of the alleged victim beginning at age 12, according to an abuse prevention order filed in Plymouth court.

The accuser reported that they met Pelrine and her husband through her aunt, who attends the same church as the couple.

At age 12, the couple took the child in and became their legal guardian, the docs alleged.

The sexual abuse began shortly after moving in with Palrine and Forand, according to the docs.

The alleged victim claimed Pelrine and Forand “both sexually assaulted me until 2025 and physically assaulted me until 2026,” the accuser said.

The affidavit specified the physical abuse was only at the hands of Forand.

“They are looking for me and I am scared for my safety,” the affidavit continued.

The couple have been barred from contacting or abusing the accuser and they must stay at least 100 yards away, separate abuse prevention orders against the duo said.

Pelrine must hand over her guns, ammunition, gun license and Firearms Purchaser Identification Card.

She was placed on leave by the department the same day the victim won the order against her and after the Massachusetts State Police informed the Plymouth Police they’d opened an inquiry into the claims.

“The Plymouth Police Department is committed to accountability and transparency with our community,” the department said in a press release, noting it had also launched an internal probe into Pelrine.

“Violations of department policy or state law will not be tolerated.”

Pelrine is due in court on March 27.

She started with the Plymouth police in April 2022, MassLive reported, citing a social media post by the department.

“I believe I picked the right career for my personality and what I wanted from a job because while the range of emotions from this job can vary drastically, I know that in some instances I’m truly able to make a difference in someone’s life,” Pelrine said at the time.
