The Dallas Mavericks have traded 10-time All-Star Anthony Davis to the Washington Wizards in a massive blockbuster trade.
ESPN’s Shams Charania broke the news via X.
The entire deal includes the Wizards acquiring Davis, Jaden Hardy, D’Angelo Russell and Dante Exum. The Mavericks are acquiring Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson, Malaki Branham, Marvin Bagley III, 2 first-round picks, and 3 second-rounders.
After months of speculation on whether Dallas would trade Davis, it finally happened a mere 24 hours before the NBA trade deadline.
The 32-year-old is currently out with a significant left hand ligament damage he sustained on January 8 against the Utah Jazz.
