Meghan Markle offered fans a rare glimpse of her and Prince Harry’s daughter Lilibet.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, August 26, Markle, 44, shared a clip of her four-year-old walking over to kiss a framed black and white photograph of her mom holding the family’s pet beagle Pula.

“Morning surprise from my husband,” Markle captioned the sweet moment which was filmed inside their family kitchen. The video showed Lilibet dressed in pale pink pyjamas as she planted her kiss on the frame before walking out of sight and around a kitchen island bench.

The Instagram Story was set to the track “My Guy” by Mary Wells and also captured a large white ribbon hanging around the frame, seemingly wrapped by Harry, 40.

The candid peek inside Markle’s home life followed the reveal of never-before-seen photos from her and Harry’s May 2018 wedding. During the sixth episode of season two of With Love, Meghan, released by Netflix on Tuesday, snaps from the couple’s reception in Windsor Castle were shown.

In one snap, Harry was seen holding his wife’s hand as the pair entered the venue, while other photos revealed tables labelled with spices including “cilantro” and “coriander” rather than numbers.

Another photo showed the reception’s afterparty snack: fried chicken from the couple’s chef, Clare Smyth, who once served the popular dish at her London restaurant Core.

Two further snaps captured the reception’s fireworks display as well as the pair dancing.

The arrival of season two of With Love, Meghan, also shone a light on how she struggles to be apart from her children. (Markle shares Lilibet and son Archie, 6, with Harry.)

In episode three, Markle was seen agreeing with Queer Eye star Tan France when he claimed he never wanted his own children “to leave” home. (Tan, 42, shares sons Ismail, 4, and Isaac, 2, with husband Rob France.)

“I’ll miss them so much. You want to be the parent who’s like, ‘Yes, go do it. Go do your thing. Go live that life,” Markle said. “But I’m going to miss you so much.’”

She also said during the episode that the longest she’s been away from her children “was almost three weeks,” noting that she “was … not well.”

Family is clearly a top priority in Markle’s life, with the lifestyle personality also revealing in episode seven that she gifted Harry a thoughtful surprise to help celebrate his 40th birthday in September 2024.

Seen packing her bags for a girls’ trip to Malibu during the episode, Markle told the cameras that she gifted Harry personalized hats to mark the milestone.
