Meghan Markle is celebrating her milestone birthday in style.

The Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram on Tuesday, August 4, to share a black-and-white photo of her jumping into a pool in a one-piece swimsuit and sunglasses. Meghan smiled as she held several balloons above her head and leaped in honor of turning 45.

In another black-and-white image, Meghan was seen submerged in the water as her hand was outstretched while still holding onto the balloons.

“Thank you for the birthday love! 🎈,” Meghan captioned the upload.

Weeks before, Meghan gave fans a glimpse of her summer travels with husband Prince Harry and kids Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5.

In one image shared to Instagram in July, Meghan stood on a beach and faced the ocean while sporting a swimsuit with a low-back cut and sneakers. Markle pulled her hair back into a ponytail underneath a white hat as she placed her hand on her hips and watched Harry, 41, play in the water with their children.

In black-and-white photos shared at the time, Harry and Meghan were seen laughing together while enjoying a meal and Harry was also photographed tossing Lilibet into the air in a pool.

Another image Meghan snapped is believed to have been taken at Althorp House, the Spencer family estate where Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, grew up. (Diana’s brother, Earl Charles Spencer, currently lives on the property where Diana, who died in 1997 at age 36, was buried in the “Oval Lake” island in the estate.)

In the photo, Harry and Archie were seen carrying large white floral bouquets down a tree-lined path while Lilbet ran behind them while holding a small purse in each of her hands.

It is unclear whether Harry brought his family to visit Diana’s gravesite or home, but he did travel in July for official engagements ahead of the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham, England.

“Summer Holiday ☀️,” Meghan wrote in the caption.

That same month, Meghan and Harry made headlines when he appeared to crash his wife’s special guest judge appearance on MasterChef Australia. In the episode, which aired in July, Meghan was handed a smartphone and told she had a call waiting for her.

“Hi, my love,” Meghan said after seeing Harry on screen and informing the cast, “My husband’s here.”

Harry greeted the crew before inquiring if he had “interrupted something important,” to which Meghan explained what he had missed.

“Well, we are actually in the middle of tasting all the dishes. We have four incredible cooks here. It’s amazing, they’re so talented. We wish you were here,” Meghan said, adding to the judges, “He’s in Canberra [in Australia] right now with the veterans.”

She continued to Harry, “I wish you could try this. These dishes are fantastic. It’s really delicious, and there’s a hot sauce that, well, you know me … it is so good. I think it might be too much for you though.”

Harry laughed at Meghan’s joke before ending their call. “Well, go and enjoy it. I’m very sorry to disturb you,” he said. “All is well here. I’ll see you later.”
