The Green Bay Packers are set for a primetime matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, marking Micah Parsons’ first return to AT&T Stadium since the blockbuster trade that took place before the 2025 NFL season.

Parsons spent the first four seasons of his professional career with the Cowboys after he was drafted with the No. 12 overall pick in 2021. He emerged as one of the NFL’s premiere players over that span, winning a Defensive Rookie of the Year award, two All-Pro honors, and four Pro-Bowl selections while totaling 52.5 sacks.

Parsons also developed close personal relationships with his Cowboys teammates, including superstar wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.

The 26-year-old wideout suffered a high-ankle sprain early in the Cowboys’ Week 3 loss to the Chicago Bears. Lamb is expected to miss multiple weeks with the injury.

During a press conference on Friday, Parsons revealed a personal message he sent to Lamb ahead of Sunday night’s game.

“I talked to CeeDee recently, just on his injury and you know, keeping his spirits up,” Parsons said. “… I got hurt Week 3 last year on a high-ankle sprain too. I’m just praying for him and hoping he comes back soon. I told him, ‘You know the standard. I at least need 1,000 yards regardless of how many weeks you’re out.'”

“That’s my brother,” Parsons added.

Lamb reeled in 16 catches for 222 yards in the Cowboys’ first two games of the season. The sixth-year wideout has recorded at least 1,100 receiving yards in each season except for his rookie campaign in which he fell just short of hitting the 1,000-yard mark (935 yards).

With Lamb out, recently acquired wide receiver George Pickens will be asked to step up as the Cowboys’ No. 1 wide receiver option for quarterback Dak Prescott.

Parsons is looking forward to his return to Dallas and says he has “no hard feelings.”

“I think Dallas loves me,” Parsons said. “I think they’re gonna give me a good round of applause. There’s no hard feelings there, at least for me. I think it’s gonna be a great atmosphere.”

Sunday’s game will kickoff at 8:20 p.m. ET.
