Morena Baccarin is looking back at her most exciting getaway with husband Ben McKenzie and their three kids.

“My most memorable vacation is Japan with my kids and husband [Ben],” Baccarin, 46, exclusively shares in the latest issue of Us Weekly while discussing her latest film, The Wrecking Crew. “The culture, the food, everything was fantastic.”

Baccarin and McKenzie tied the knot in 2017 after meeting on the set of Gotham three years earlier. They welcomed their children, Frances and Arthur, in 2016 and 2021, respectively. (The Deadpool star also shares son Julius with ex-husband Austin Chick.)

Luckily for Baccarin, her job takes her overseas on solo trips as well — she filmed the majority of The Wrecking Crew alongside Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa on location in New Zealand and Hawaii. The film follows estranged half-brothers Jonny and James (Bautista and Momoa) as they reunite after their father’s mysterious death in an attempt to uncover a conspiracy that threatens to tear their family apart.

The Prime Video action-adventure is just the latest on Baccarin’s list of blockbuster projects — but the actress tells Us she has strict rules when it comes to finding out how people feel about her films. “I only look at reviews if someone tells me they’re good,” she quips.

The Wrecking Crew is one movie she doesn’t need to worry about — the film is “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes, earning a 74 percent from critics, with Roger Ebert’s Matt Zoller Seitz labeling it a Lethal Weapon with a “little more depth.” The New York Times, meanwhile, called the movie “so good, its fights so brisk and its car chases so lively, that it makes you wish its muscular leads, Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista, had starred in more decent action movies.”

The Wrecking Crew is streaming on Prime Video now. Keep scrolling for 25 things you didn’t know about the actress:
