Jen Affleck got emotional while sharing a life update.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, 26, opened up to her followers about moving for “the fifth time in a year” via TikTok on Monday, April 6.
“In the last two to three years, so much has happened,” Jen explained. “Between two babies, reality TV show, Dancing With the Stars, moving, identity, faith, life crisis, I’m very hopeful for this next chapter of my life.”
Through tears, Jen explained that she doesn’t “recognize” parts of herself.
“There are parts of me that I feel like have healed, and then there are parts of me where old patterns have shown back up,” she explained. “I’ve been hoping through my vulnerability that I can help heal myself. I’m hoping that in this next chapter of my life I can find my faith again … while also holding space for who I am at my core and not trying to change that.”
Jen went on to share that she got married at 19 and was pregnant one year later. “I really haven’t had time to figure out who Jen is,” she said. “I’m still trying to figure that out. I just desperately want to be able to show up for my kids and show up as the best version of myself.” (Jen shares kids Nora, 4, Luca, 2, and Penny, 9 months, with husband Zac Affleck.)

She continued, “Although there’s been a lot of hate — which that’s OK — there’s also been a lot of positivity, and so I just want to thank those who have sent me kind messages.”
Jen also shared that instead of taking a break from social media, she wants to “share” her “vulnerable” side. “This is not easy for me. This is really hard,” she added, before noting that she was going to start packing up her house.
“Life update 🙃,” Jen captioned the post. Her friends sent her supportive messages in the comments section.
“Love you Jenn!!!! You are very strong never forget that!” DWTS pro Ezra Sosa wrote, while her Mormon Wives costar Miranda McWhorter added, “Sending love jenny 💓💓.” Layla Taylor also commented, “❤️🩹🤍 love u.”
Other fans wondered whether Jen and Zac, 28, are having marital issues, noting she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring in the video.
Jen and Zac have been candid about their marriage struggles through the years, which have been documented on Mormon Wives. Season 2, which premiered last year, explored their brief separation.
“[We went through] lots of therapy. When I say lots of therapy, I mean eight hours a week,” Jen told Us Weekly exclusively after their reconciliation. “We really went all at it.”
