Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals will tipoff at Madison Square Garden on Monday night, pitting the visiting San Antonio Spurs against the home-team New York Knicks.

The Knicks hold a 2-0 series lead over the Spurs after stealing both Game 1 and Game 2 in San Antonio. Now, the team will take the court for its first NBA Finals home game since 1999, in search of the franchise’s first NBA title since 1973.

On Monday morning, the NBA announced its officiating crew for this pivotal NBA Finals matchup. Crew chief Marc Davis will lead a group of veteran officials featuring referee John Goble, umpire Curtis Blair and first alternate Nick Buchert.

The Knicks are in the midst of a historic 13-game playoff win streak, including five straight postseason wins at Madison Square Garden. They notched back-to-back series sweeps over the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers, with their last loss coming in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Spurs need to steal at least one game on the road in order to keep their NBA championship hopes alive. No team in NBA history has ever comeback from a 3-0 series deficit.
