Countless actors have played Spider-Man over the years, and now Marvel aficionados are getting the first look at a fan-favorite rendition of the iconic character.
Nicolas Cage is set to reprise his Spider-Man Noir character from ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ in the live-action MGM+ and Amazon Prime series ‘Spider-Noir.’
Recently, Amazon shared the first look of Cage in the suit (per Deadline), sporting his iconic trench coat, fedora, and goggles in complete black-and-white.
The upcoming series “tells the story of an aging and down on his luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.”
Two versions of the series, one black-and-white and one in color, will be released simultaneously in 2026. There will be eight episodes.

Alongside Cage, the series will star Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, Abraham Popoola, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, and Jack Huston.
Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson, and Kai Caster are set to guest star.
Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot are co-showrunners and executive producers. Other producers include Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal, who are the Academy Award-winning team behind ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.’

Spider-Man Noir was created by David Hine (co-writer), Fabrice Sapolsky (co-writer), Carmine Di Giandomenico (artist), and Marko Djurdjević (costume design).
Spider-Man Noir made his debut in February 2009 in the comic ‘Spider-Man: Noir #1.’ He has since become one of the more beloved versions of Spider-Man among Marvel fans.
