An NYPD officer shot and killed a boxcutter-wielding maniac in front of his parents after he charged at her early Sunday, cops said.

The 29-year-old man’s parents called the cops to their apartment at 11-70 Nameoke Street in Far Rockaway, Queens at 12:25 a.m., police said Sunday morning.

As the parents and two officers left the apartment they saw the man standing in the hallway holding a boxcutter, River said.

The man’s father got into a fight with his son, who was ordered to drop his weapon multiple times by officers and refused to do so.

One officer Tasered the man, who then charged at them with his boxcutter, as his father hid behind the two officers.

The second officer then shot him when he refused to drop the blade.

He was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he died.

Cops released a picture of the weapon, which hand tape around the handle, at their early morning press briefing.
