Party like it’s 2019, Odell Beckham Jr. is one step closer to an NFL comeback.

Despite not having played in the league since the 2024 season, the former All-Pro wide receiver will work out with the New York Giants on Monday, according to Jordan Schultz. The stunning news opens the door for the two sides to reunite in what would be a shocking development.

The Giants saw WR Gunner Olszewski go down with a torn Achilles over the weekend. That likely led to New York reaching out to Beckham Jr., who previously played for the team for the first five seasons of his career after being selected with the No. 12 pick of the 2014 NFL Draft.

Beckham Jr. last played in an NFL game on Dec. 8, 2024 for the Miami Dolphins, who later waived the veteran five days later. If he were to suit up for the Giants in Week 1 of this season it will have been 644 days between the 33-year-old’s two most recent appearances on an NFL gridiron.

In his lone season with the Dolphins, Beckham Jr. totaled just nine receptions for 55 yards across nine games. He has recorded 575 receptions for 7,987 yards and 59 touchdowns throughout a 10-year professional career.

The vast majority of his production came during his previous time in New York, when he totaled 390 receptions for 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns over 59 games.
