A dad-of-two has been found dead inside a trash compactor at a CVS drugstore — and cops discovered his body after his worried wife tracked his cell phone location.

Andrew Strand, 34, was carrying out contract work at the Shaker Heights, Ohio, shop last Wednesday but failed to call his wife of seven years, Jaymie, to tell her he was returning home, which sparked alarm.

That prompted her to call cops and track his location using a cell phone tool, which led her to the drugstore, as reported by the CBS affiliate WOIO-TV.

Shaker Heights cops made a grisly discovery inside a trash compactor at the back after combing a search of the shop.

Strand, a mechanic who had just launched his own business, was found dead inside the appliance. Coroners are yet to reveal a cause of death.

“Andy’s passing was sudden and unexpected leaving his family in disarray,” pals revealed in a GoFundMe that has since been created.

“His wife and children were the center of his life and he loved them immensely.”

Friends described Strand, a dad to two young kids, as a “kind man who always showed up to support his friends or anyone who needed him.”

Strand’s job as a mechanic inspired his son to develop a passion for cars.

“We extend our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased during this difficult time,” John Cole, the Shaker Heights Police Commander, said.

“We’re cooperating with police as they investigate the death of a contractor outside our Chagrin Blvd store,” a CVS spokesperson told WOIO.

The fundraiser set a target of $30,000 and more than $19,000 has since been raised.
