A set of incomplete skeletal remains, including a human skull, was recovered near a busy Queens strip mall Monday afternoon, just a week after city sanitation workers found a woman’s torso in a trash bag during a cleanup in the same borough.

A skull, hip bone and leg bone were found at 134-01 20th Ave. in College Point, according to a preliminary NYPD investigation.

The site, just behind a chain link fence, is across from a sprawling parking lot lined with popular stores like ShopRite, Target, HomeGoods and TJ Maxx.

NYPD officers spent Monday afternoon picking apart the scene alongside homicide squad detectives.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is still ongoing, police said.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is still working to determine the cause of death.

The startling discovery comes just one week after a pair of unlucky Sanitation Department workers found a woman’s torso tucked away in a trash bag picked up along their early morning route through Queens.

The workers caught one whiff of the suspicious blue bag, held together with tape and rope, and quickly reported the worrying discovery to the NYPD.

Inside, authorities found a dismembered woman’s decomposing torso. The rest of her appendages and head were nowhere to be found.

An investigation into the woman’s demise is still ongoing, but cops are hoping they can use “several unique and identifiable tattoos,” including a cluster featuring three names, to help identify her.
