The search effort in the suspicious disappearance of Attadale man Jayden Selfe has moved to bushland north-east of Wanneroo.
The 33-year-old was last seen in early to mid-May, with police receiving a tip-off last month that he may have met with foul play, sparking an extensive forensic search of his Attadale unit.

WA Police Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Leigh McKnight on Tuesday said the homicide squad believed Selfe’s body could have been dumped in bushland currently being searched.
“Investigators and forensic officers have been out there a number of days, specifically the last four days, and we’ve located and identified a number of items which are of significance to our investigation,” he said.
“We believe we can link them back to the [Attadale] property.
“We don’t believe Mr Selfe is alive, from ongoing forensic examinations and information we have from a number of witnesses, there’s nothing that leads us to believe he is still alive at this point in time.”

McKnight declined to reveal the area police were scouring as it was a “public open access area, and we’re worried about members of the public potentially coming in and corrupting the evidence that may be out there”, but confirmed the search zone had expanded.
He said the suspected murder of Selfe was believed to have been “confined” and carried out by people known to him.
