It’s going to be a big year for “Predator” fans. 20th Century Studios just released their trailer for Dan Trachtenberg’s secret “Predator” film, the animated anthology film “Predator: Killer of Killers.” You can see the trailer below.

Showing the alien hunter of the “Predator” films hunting humans in different eras is not new to the overall franchise. “Predator” comics have long featured stories of the aliens locking horns with samurai, pirates, and tribal warriors. But 2022’s “Prey” was the first example of a film in the franchise turning back the history clock and now “Predator: Killer of Killers” looks to do the same.
The official synopsis for “Predator: Killer of Killers” reads, “The anthology story follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge; a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession; and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause. But while all these warriors are killers in their own right, they are merely prey for their new opponent — the ultimate killer of killers.”
“Predator: Killer of Killers” is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, with Josh Wassung serving as co-director. The film is written by Micho Robert Rutare and the story is by Trachtenberg Dan and Rutare.
For those who have been paying attention to “Predator” news for the past couple of years, “Predator: Killer of Killers” answers a burning question. Last October The Hollywood Reporter spoke to Steve Asbell, 20th Century Studios president, who said that “Prey” director Dan Trachtenberg was working on not one but two “Predator” films, both of which were scheduled to bow in 2025. The first film was “Predator: Badlands” which we recently got to see the logo for. But the second “Predator” movie was a “secret” film which Asbell said the studio had “different plans for.” He also said the secret film would be released before “Badlands.”
Many speculated that the secret film would be “Prey 2,” since the end of 2022’s “Prey” teases a sequel. But it looks like we’ll have to wait longer for that.
“Predator: Killer of Killers” streams on Hulu on June 6, 2025.
