Selena Gomez and her husband, producer Benny Blanco, officially tied the knot in September 2025, after getting engaged the previous December.
“He is my absolute everything in my heart,” the “Wolves” singer wrote in an Instagram comment at the time. “He has been the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
Hints of the couple’s relationship were dropped on the Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays TV special when the pop star revealed she had a date right after filming the December 21 episode. Gomez’s best friend and costar, Raquelle Stevens, proclaimed that Gomez will have a new man in time for 2024 to which Gomez responded, “Let’s hope!”
She later confirmed that the two had been dating for “six months” and has openly shared many moments with the producer since.
“Selena hasn’t felt this happy about anybody she’s dated in a really long time,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly the month of the announcement. “Selena and Benny are truly in love and although she has kept most people she’s dated under wraps, with Benny, she couldn’t wait to reveal they were together.”

2015
“Same Old Love” is recorded and released on Gomez’s second studio album, Revival. Blanco helped produce the track and this was the start to their friendship and other collaborations on hit songs, including “Kill ‘Em With Kindness,” which was also featured on Revival, “I Can’t Get Enough” (2019) with Tainy and J Balvin and “Single Soon” (2023).
July 2023
Gomez poses with Blanco and Paris Hilton in a collage of photos from her 31st birthday party. The black-and-white photo shows the birthday girl wrapping her arms around both parties which sparked dating rumors that were later confirmed by the former Disney channel star.
December 2023
On December 7, the Rare Beauty creator confirmed her relationship with Blanco by commenting, “Facts,” on an Instagram post that shared the headline, “Selena Gomez Seemingly Confirms Relationship With Benny Blanco.” The pair have since been open and public with their relationship.
Just days later, Gomez took to Instagram to give previews on a new Rare Beauty project and Blanco commented using a heart eye emoji. On December 15, she shared a collage of photos captioned, “New York, my favorite moments [with] you this week,” and the last snapshot captured a kiss between the couple.
January 2024
The couple made their first public appearance sitting courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers game in early January. They were photographed getting cozy, sharing smiles and laughs as they were caught on the Jumbotron.
The Golden Globes were a few days after the couple’s outing and Gomez was nominated for her role in Only Murders in the Building. Though she went home empty-handed, the actress captioned a photo of her sitting on Blanco’s lap via her Instagram Stories, “I won.”
May 2024
During an appearance on “The Howard Stern Show,” host Howard Stern said he is “predicting marriage” in Blanco and Gomez’s future. “You and me both,” Blanco candidly replied.
When asked if he has a ring ready to go, Blanco joked, “I don’t have anything. I got no shoes on! I gotta get my act together.”
Earlier in the interview, Blanco noted that his “next goal” in life is to become a father. “I have a ton of godkids. I’ve got a ton of nephews. I love being around kids,” he shared before going on to gush about his and Gomez’s romance.
“When I look at her, I do say, I’m always just like, ‘I don’t know a world where it could be better than this,” he stated.

The actress shared a pic to her Instagram Story on July 4 of her and Blanco spending Independence Day together. In the photo, Gomez is seated, wrapped in a hug from Blanco. Gomez is wearing a white dress, with Blanco in a matching white outfit of his own.
Blanco shared a few more shots of Gomez via his story, showing the actress posing with a wide smile, gold hoop earrings and a white headband.

Blanco joined Gomez at her annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit, held in honor of her beauty brand. At the event, he sweetly kissed her cheek while Gomez sat on his lap.

Gomez praised their connection in a The Hollywood Reporter interview, gushing that “this is the safest [she has] ever felt” in a relationship.
“I see a future with this person. And when you put a little bit out there, people are not as hungry to hunt you down,” Gomez said. “Like, if they hear something, they’re going to, but if you’re like, ‘I did it,’ they’re like, ‘Oh, well there’s you, just going to Sushi Park.’ But there’s so much of my relationship people don’t see, that’s just mine.”
According to Gomez, having their date nights photographed is just “part of the job.”

Gomez and Blanco announced their engagement after more than one year of dating.

Gomez confirmed via Instagram on September 27 that she and Blanco had exchanged vows earlier that day in Santa Barbara, California. The “Same Old Love” singer shared gorgeous photos from her big day, revealing that she wore a shoulderless white wedding dress while Blanco looked dapper in a traditional tuxedo.
Us Weekly exclusively learned that many of the couple’s A-list friends were in attendance for a rehearsal dinner on Friday, September 26, before the ceremony took place the next day. Celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss organized the ceremony and reception, having previously worked with Gomez’s ex Justin and Hailey Bieber, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, and the Kardashians, among others,
“It will be a huge, A-list, star-studded wedding planned by Mindy Weiss,” an insider revealed to Us beforehand.
