Saturday Night Live star Chloe Fineman is going viral for revealing that she once got fired from a job as a teen for pantsing a child.
Fineman participated in a March Vanity Fair interview with multiple SNL costars, including Mikey Day, Sarah Sherman, Ashley Padilla, Jane Wickline and James Austin Johnson. The group played a game to see how well they knew each other, and Fineman’s colleagues tried to guess which job she had been fired from.
“I was fired as a camp counselor,” Fineman said in a clip shared via X, as Day joked the reason must have been for “hitting on the campers.”
Fineman replied, “No, I pantsed a boy,” at which point Padilla joked, “Oh, honey, I think you’re on a list somewhere.”
Fineman earned backlash online, but the drama didn’t stop there. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the Vanity Fair video uploaded to YouTube was seemingly edited to cut out some of the additional details Fineman shared following criticism.

Chloe Fineman Revealed She Was Fired for Pantsing a Child
Chloe Fineman, Mikey Day, Sarah Sherman, Ashley Padilla, Jane Wickline and James Austin Johnson participated in Vanity Fair’s “How Well They Know Each Other” game in March. Fineman’s SNL costars were tasked with guessing a previous job she got fired from. Their guesses included a restaurant hostess or retail worker, which were ultimately wrong. Fineman then revealed that she was fired from her job as a camp counselor for pantsing a boy.
“He wasn’t wearing underpants, and then a giant school bus drove by,” she said in the clip. “He would lift my shirt all the time.”
Day asked how old the child was at the time of the incident, and Fineman revealed he was “about 6” years old.
“It was a different time. He would be like, ‘Hey, could I have a hug?’ And then I’d go to hug him and he’d lift my shirt, like a d***. And then I was like, ‘I’m going to get back at you,’” she recalled. “And so we were on a hike and I was like, ‘Hey, Ollie, go look over there. It’s a hawk.’ He looked and then I yanked his pants down. He wasn’t wearing underwear, his little ding-a-ling was out.”

Another user shared a meme of Zendaya and Robert Pattinson from their dark comedy, The Drama, to react to the clip.
“I’m older than Chloe Fineman, and was also a summer camp counselor all through college,” an additional fan replied via X. “Some things were different back then, yes, but what was not different is that my ass would have been fired on the spot for doing what she did.”

After Chloe Fineman’s comment sparked outrage online, fans noticed that the video from Vanity Fair’s YouTube page was seemingly edited. The allegedly updated version of the story does not include the boy’s age, Fineman sharing that the boy’s “little ding-a-ling was out” or that he was not wearing underwear and Ashley Padilla’s reaction.
