Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey suffered a hamstring injury during Week 4’s 24-21 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
While defending Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison in the third quarter, Ramsey pulled up with a left hamstring injury and was unable to return to the game. This injury came at a fortunate time for the veteran defensive back as the Steelers had their bye in Week 5.
Ramsey was a non-participant in each of the Steelers’ first two practices leading up to Sunday’s Week 6 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. But on Friday, he was spotted taking part in individual drills. He also said he participated in some team drills, doing a little “something something.”
Ramsey was asked if he’ll be able to take the field on Sunday during his media session with reporters.
“We’ll see,” he said with a smile, via team insider Brooke Pryor of ESPN.

Steelers wide receiver Calvin Austin is also questionable to take the field on Sunday with a shoulder injury.
On Thursday, Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin opened the door for both Ramsey and Austin to return to action in Week 6.
“Two guys that we’re watching very closely — that are certainly going to be limited at the front part of the week, but may perk up and be included toward the latter part of the week — are Calvin Austin with his shoulder and Jalen Ramsey with his hamstring,” Tomlin told reporters, via SteelersWire.
“Both have been highly aggressive from a rehabilitation standpoint during the bye week, and so, really encouraged about the potential of those guys. But we’ll take it, certainly, day-to-day.”

Through four games in his first season with the Steelers, Ramsey has 14 tackles, four passes defended and one interception. The 30-year-old veteran’s lone interception came in Pittsburgh’s Week 2 loss against the Seattle Seahawks.
The Steelers’ Week 6 matchup against the Browns will kickoff at 1 p.m. ET.
