A suspected Ohio shoplifter sprung onto a woman’s SUV as she was barreling down the highway in a stunning move to evade cops, wild video shows.
The wannabe carjacker tried to pull off the daring escape after he and a pal were pulled over by Miami Township police on suspicion that they had ripped off a nearby Kroger’s, according to WFLA.
The suspect bolted from the vehicle to escape approaching police, cops said, and ran straight across the on-ramp to Interstate 75.
Insane footage shows the bandit running toward the highway and then clinging on to the side of the shocked woman’s car.
Cops said the suspect somehow managed to get on the hood of the vehicle and broke the windshield in an attempt to commandeer it from the driver – all while the vehicle zoomed down the I-75.
Eventually, the thief tumbled off the vehicle and was caught by Miamisburg police, who transported him to the hospital, according to authorities.
The lunatic was charged with aggravated robbery, theft and obstructing official business, while their partner was charged with complicity to theft, cops said.
The victim driver was not injured but her car suffered some damage.
