The freakout on the left continued Thursday with New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez blaming sexism for Kamala Harris’ presidential election loss — as she warned it will be a “scary” time in America under “the fascist” Donald Trump.

“This is going to be a very, very, very, challenging difficult time … for millions of people in this country. This is going to be a very scary time,” AOC said in an extended, funereal Instagram video from the kitchen of her home.

“I’m not here to sugarcoat what we are about to experience.”

Ocasio-Cortez — who stumped across the country for the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz ticket — said the results are a bitter pill for Democrats and lefties who purport to fight for working-class Americans.

Trump won the presidency with support from “a lot of the working class,” she noted.

“It’s an enormous setback because the fascist won a lot of working class support, which has happened in history,” the congresswoman, who represents parts of the Bronx and Queens said in her gloomy assessment.

She didn’t blame Harris for the loss, noting the vice president was given a tough assignment to assemble a campaign in a few months.

AOC claimed Harris likely lost some votes because of deeply ingrained sexism in America — which has never elected a female president — that transcends ideology or party affiliation.

“If Kamala Harris was Tom Harris, we may have a different result today,” she said.

In a grudging compliment, the former waitress even said Trump got people’s attention by vowing to cut taxes on tips and social security benefits.

“Where it becomes complicated for Democrats is we are supposed to champion the working class,” she said.

Whether true or not, AOC said Trump got people’s attention by promising “No taxes on tips, no taxes on social security”, putting Democrats on their heels.

“It doesn’t matter that he’s lying. He’s saying the thing clearly. He’s saying it,” she said, who noted her background as a waitress.

“Longer term, Democrats must deliver on a specific agenda for lower income and middle class Americans by delivering on raising the minimum wage and lowering the age for Medicare, for example.

Trump will be difficult to stop if Republicans control both the House and Senate, which appears likely. He also will be more formidable than his last stint in the White House because he is better prepared,” AOC noted.

“When he says he’s going to do something, believe him,” she said.

At one point, she said temperatures will rise because Trump will roll back or slow down climate change initiatives.

“We will have to deal with the consequences for the rest of our lives,” she said.

She also said the billionaire class — particularly naming Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos — will have more sway with Trump.

Moreover, AOC worried about Trump giving vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. influence over federal health regulators and vaccine policy. Kennedy has talked about removing fluoride from drinking water.

“We’re talking about vaccines taken off the market entirely,” she said.

The lefty Democrat said liberals must unite instead of turning on each other.

She said it’s time for people to lean on each other, urging supporters to get to know and befriend neighbors, if they haven’t already.

“We have to build community. We do not have a choice. Our choice is to continue to fight,
she said.

“We cannot give up.”
