The rally, held at the same venue where Trump survived an assassination attempt in July, had begun with a poignant callback to that harrowing event. “As I was saying,” Trump opened, referencing how his previous speech was cut short by gunfire just minutes in. A man wearing a distinctive Trump hair hat appeared to be directing emergency personnel to a specific location in the crowd. The situation quickly escalated as more security and medical staff converged on the area.
“There’s about 10 security and medics there now,” Sager reported, noting the growing number of emergency responders at the scene.
The affected rallygoer was eventually placed on a stretcher where medical professionals were seen ushering him from the event.
