The United States Postal Service (USPS) is releasing a new Bruce Lee Forever Stamp to celebrate the iconic Chinese American martial artist and actor.
When Will the Bruce Lee Stamp Be Available?
According to the USPS announcement, the Bruce Lee Forever Stamp will be issued on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at a free, public first-day-of-issue event at the historic Nippon Kan Theatre in Seattle, Washington, at 2 p.m. PT. Derek Kan, the vice chair of the USPS Board of Governors, will be there, along with Shannon Lee, the CEO of Bruce Lee Enterprises. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP at usps.com/bruceleestamp.
How Can I Buy a Bruce Lee Stamp?
From February 18, the Bruce Lee stamps will be available to buy from the USPS online postal store, by phone (844‑737‑7826), mail, or from local post offices nationwide. They can also be bought via the “USPS Officially Licensed Collection” on Amazon.
The Stamp Design
Lee, a renowned Chinese American martial artist, actor, and cultural ambassador, is celebrated for inspiring generations of fans through his films and philosophy.
The stamp features a dynamic black-and-white painting of Lee executing his celebrated flying kick, set against a striking yellow calligraphic brushstroke—a nod to his iconic yellow tracksuit from the film The Game of Death.
The artwork was created by Kam Mak with egg tempera on traditional gesso—a white paintlike primer mixture, traditionally made from chalk—and the vertical printing design gives the impression that Lee’s kick is breaking the words “BRUCE LEE” and “USA FOREVER” in half.
According to the official USPS release, “Lee captivated film audiences with his skill, charisma and screen presence and inspired a generation of young fans to explore action movies, mixed martial arts and Asian culture,”
What Are Forever Stamps?
According to the USPS Forever Stamp policy, Forever Stamps are nondenominated and will always be valid for mailing a 1-ounce First-Class letter, regardless of any future price changes—an approach designed to provide convenience and long-term value for postal customers.
The 4-cent Angel’s Trumpets Stamp Release
Alongside the Bruce Lee release, the 4-cent Angel’s Trumpet stamp joins USPS’s Low-Denomination Flowers series, which includes the 1-cent Fringed Tulip, the 2-cent Daffodils, the 3-cent Peonies, the 5-cent Red Tulips, and the 10-cent Poppies and Coneflowers.
The 4-cent Angel’s Trumpet first became available on January 9, 2026. It has an image of a Brugmansia, which is an evergreen shrub with trumpet-shaped blooms and was originally native to South America, but is now extinct in the wild.
The stamp was designed by USPS art director Ethel Kessler using existing photography by Harold Davis, who arranged and backlit the flowers to, in his words, “create a partially transparent effect using the colors that are passed through flower petals, rather than reflected by the petals, as is the case for most conventional flower photography.”
The stamps are offered in panes of 20 and coils of 10,000 and are available through all USPS channels.
