Vanderpump Villa, the Hulu original reality TV series, returns for its second season on April 24, inviting viewers back into the opulent world of Lisa Vanderpump’s hospitality empire.
What Is ‘Vanderpump Villa’?
The series, set in a luxurious Italian castle, follows the staff who live and work together under one roof. The show blends high-stakes hospitality with reality TV drama, expanding on the formula that made Vanderpump Rules a pop culture fixture.
Season 2 builds on this dynamic by introducing new faces alongside returning personalities, some of whom have roots in the broader Vanderpump universe. As Lisa Vanderpump told Good Morning America on April 23, “The show was so vast this year, it felt so different to the first season. It was almost like Season 1 on steroids. Everyone was hooking up and messing about, and we had the beautiful visuals as well.”

A notable return is Schroeder, a former Vanderpump Rules cast member, who joins as a “Special VIP.” In the season 2 trailer, which dropped on March 20, Vanderpump described her role to her: “Remember when I used to tell you don’t get involved in other people’s business? Well, now, I want you to do the exact opposite.”
Schroeder told Good Morning America: “It was so nice to have this different dynamic because obviously I’m used to Vanderpump Rules where she was my boss, and this time, I was like, ‘Oh, we’re buddies?'”
In the trailer for season 2, Vanderpump said that the “most exceptional employee” will receive a job opportunity and a financial bonus.
‘Vanderpump Villa’ Cameos
Season 2 introduces surprise guests, including cast members from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Demi Engemann, Jen Affleck, and Mikayla Matthews.
“They’re a little bit naughty in their playtime,” Vanderpump said of the trio in the trailer.
Where is ‘Vanderpump Villa’ filmed?
The series is filmed at Castello Rosato, an opulent 12th-century castle in Italy. This European backdrop for season 2 sets Vanderpump Villa apart from its Los Angeles-based predecessor.
In the trailer for season 2, Vanderpump states: “This season I’ve chosen this magnificent Italian castle.”
She described the setting as “delicious” to Good Morning America, noting, “The whole experience, it was just so wonderful.”
How to Watch ‘Vanderpump Villa’ Season 2
Vanderpump Villa Season 2 premieres on April 24 exclusively on Hulu, with new episodes dropping every week. A Hulu subscription is required.
As Vanderpump summed up her vision during her Good Morning America appearance: “This show is everything—style, substance, a little scandal—and, of course, Château Rosabelle is the most fabulous place I’ve ever filmed.”
