Vanna White is opening up about what it’s been like working with both “Wheel of Fortune” hosts Pat Sajak and Ryan Seacrest … but she’s not interested in picking favorites.
In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly shared on Saturday, April 25, White was asked about working alongside both men and quickly shut down any ranking debate. She said comparing the longtime host and his successor is like “comparing apples to oranges.”
She continued: “They’re both great. Everybody has their own style, and people watching the show can see their personality. You’ve watched Pat for years, and you see how he is, and you watch Ryan, and you see how he is. They’re both incredible to work with and easy to work with. And I, of course, have enjoyed working with both of them!”
Sajak, 79, stepped away from the iconic game show in 2024 after decades behind the podium, with Seacrest, 51, taking over hosting duties that September. While the transition marked the end of an era for many longtime fans, White, 69, says the team has remained focused on keeping the series exciting.

“We’re always looking to keep it fresh,” she explained. “I have worn over 8,000 dresses on the show, so every single day you’re going to see me in a new dress, you’re going to see new puzzles, you’re going to see new jokes, and new contestants, and new winners.”
White previously admitted she felt nervous heading into the change after spending so many years working with Sajak. Speaking to CBS Sunday Morning in 2024, she said, “I had no idea what to expect, when I’m used to one person for so long. I was very scared, but he’s doing a great job.”
