Newly released video captured the wild hit-and-run crash in Los Angeles that set off a chaotic series of events leading to the arrest of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner’s wife on attempted murder charges.

The crazy footage shows a driver losing control of his car and taking out several other motorists on the freeway — causing cops to swarm the Eagle Rock neighborhood in search for the motorist, who fled the scene clutching his clothes and a guitar.

“I thought I was in an episode of GTA. Honestly, that stuff just doesn’t happen you know,” David Gonzalez, who caught the chaos on camera, told ABC7.

In a bizarre turn of events, instead of locating the hit-and-run perp, police came across the wife of Weezer’s bassist, Jillian Shriner, 51, brandishing a handgun in the front yard of her home.

Shriner allegedly fired her gun at officers, prompting them to return fire, striking her in the shoulder.
Shriner was taken into custody and now faces an attempted murder charge.

Meanwhile, the cameraman, Gonzalez, was left astonished by the outcome following the dramatic crash.

“Ripple effect. At the moment, I had no clue what happened after, but it’s crazy how just one man can cause so much chaos,” he said.
